        <p>Der Schluß von <bibl corresp="kbga-bibls-48"><ref type="pub" target="../volume/47/p555#p555">Röm. 11</ref></bibl> ist glänzend geraten und nicht minder erstaunlich und einleuchtend die mit höchster Umsicht gegebene Begründung der Ethik auf Grund von <ref type="can" subtype="bible" target="Röm.12.1 Röm.12.2">12,1–2</ref>. Im ersten Augenblick schwindelte mir vor der merkwürdigen dialektischen Ecke, um welche es da geht. Aber dieser Schwindel ist längst gewichen. Ich bin recht eigentlich erlöst, weil ich nun das Problem der Ethik verstehen kann. Wie ein letzter rätselhafter Felsklotz hat es gerade an dieser Stelle auf uns gewartet, um die Zahl der merkwürdigen Zeichen vollzumachen, an denen dein Weg durch das merkwürdige Land des Römerbriefes in diesen letzten Monaten vorbeigeführt hat. Deine Disposition des Schlußteiles habe ich mir überlegt und bin überzeugt, daß es so gehen wird. […]</p>
