        <p>In der Göttingerfrage zeigen sich also die Schattenseiten, die zu erwarten waren. Wie sollte sich nicht gerade in solch einer theologischen Berufungsfrage die Problematik menschlicher Pfiffigkeit, Torheit, Bedenklichkeit zeigen! Ob sies gewinnt über den verborgenen Sinn, der sich unsern Augen darin unbezweifelbar auch zeigt? Ich wurde gerade heute Vormittag bei der <bibl corresp="kbga-bibls-48">Römerbrieflektüre</bibl> vollständig ruhig und klar ob der Gewichtigkeit und Richtigkeit unserer Wege, daß mir auch eine Nichtberufung in <placeName ref="kbga-places-27">Göttingen</placeName> nicht allzu stark zu schaffen machte. Es ist so sicher, daß gerade diese <bibl corresp="kbga-bibls-48">Neubearbeitung des Römerbriefes</bibl> ein gewaltiges Loch in die theologische Mauer schlagen und dir noch ganz andere Tore auftun wird. […]</p>
